Newcastle has a brand new futsal club and the first team has begun training in Cooks Hill. The Newcastle Nomads Under-9s, called “Origins” has kicked off in term 3.
A great starting point for the club and for the children. Futsal is undoubtedly the best entry point for young football players and that’s why Origins was the first group launched by the Nomads and their Brazilian coach, Gui Evangelista.
“We decided to get the ball rolling with this age as we know how important it is for players to be playing futsal at this age. Players have lots of touches, lots of dribbles and lots of fun.”
